And it was unexpected, i guess even for the Science Physics students its the same.
Argh,

It's so annoying.
I hate it.
It's not like you did NOT study and had to do such a paper,
I DID study.

And i had such a paper?!
If this is only Bio, what more other subjects?
The standards are suddenly like not for a school like mine,

Since when were Bio papers like these?
I looked at the CA1 & CA2 papers,
and they were do-able!

Today's questions were foreign,
it didn't appear in 10 yr series,
it didn't appear in previous CA(s),
it didn't appear in the class tests,
it didn't appear in graded assignments!

Then were did the questions come from?

There are supposed to have 9 chapters involved right?
Where's the respiration chapter?
Where's the Tansport in Animals chapter? (I studied this the most!)
Where's the Nutrion Chapter?
WHERE IS THE ESSAY THAT ASKS YOU HOW BLOOD FLOWS THROUGH THE HEART?!
( THAT ANSWER IS IN MY HEART!)

And this also shows how much countries depend on China - In Japan, 2 adults are falling sick after eating Chinese Bean Paste, and how countries like Singapore & Malaysia & Japan has stopped import from China.

No point being angry or questioning why it has happened, just be happy that Singapore has not been affected (yet?) and pray for all those babies who are sick to get well soon, Also that people who have taken the ice-creams or whatever above, would not fall sick  and  ThankGod that we're rather protected already, with most of the products being destroyed.

managed to escape English (yay!)
studied for SS.
& managed to do the chem paper.

Kind of pleased with SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
'cos what i actually studied,

But as usual, i took 5 minutes trying to think,
because my brain could not function at such a heat.
Maybe they should put windows since they don't allow us to switch on the aircon!

But yes, i managed to complete the paper, IN TIME! :D

Mooncake Festival @ Agape

I realised i've not blogged about friday, yet.
So i shall also put Friday's post up.
Anyways, this is probably going to be the last few entrys before Finals.

School in the morning,
flag raising with Roslyn instead.
Not too sure on how i did, but i managed to reach the top on the dot?
And it was also Roslyn's first try raising the flag in front of the school,
and it was a good job, too.
:)

Walked inbetween the basketball & field to pick up littter.
Sheesh.
I was running and jumping back, behind the school as i got back to the bench
because i was feeeeling suppppppppper itchy.
Don't ask me why though.
Went right to the canteen and spryed water onto my legs and got my shoes wet too!
Even after, my legs were still itchyyy and i couldn't help but not stop scratching it.
Bleah.
I started to even jump.
Heh.

Okay, whatever.
Went back to class.
Last day of classroom system.
Boooooo.
Started off with POA.
I need to start working hard and asking for help.
I want to do well in POA, wait i HAVE to!

I currently dread English,

and handed it up.

Ended up with form teacher's period instead of Chapel.
Just talked to Dharishini&Rajam, again. :)
Went over for 'lunch' outside the G.O.
I was waiting for Miss Amy to come outside because i didn't want to go in,
so while waiting i went to..
disfigure someone's face. *shhhhh. secret
And it was so close as when i ran back to the bench,
Miss Amy suddenly appeared
which made me burst out into laughter when i thought of it,

I was also feeling hyper
so i did the
HOKEY POKEY!

I'm sure the librarian likes me,

so we decided to cheer ourselves up
by going to visit little kids @ KCPPS.
And remember, the librarian thinks that Dharishini's still like seeing a teacher?
& then, i had to get home to return my report book,
so she accompanied me home!

Discipline

I know i hardly do posts like these, but i feel that if voicing out my opinions doesn't help then my last thought/resort has to be blogging then it shall be. I'm aware that my readers aren't all students but also, generally adults too. And i don't want anyone to happen to stumble upon this entry and get the wrong idea of what i'm trying to say and mis-interpret everything and then it might become the 'headlines' back at school on Monday. I would appreciate that you don't read this entry if you feel that you don't want to hear any not very nice things about school and everything that can be related to it. And please don't think that i'm referring to you either, this is a nameless entry and it will always be.

Face the truth. 'Truth is like the Sun. You can shut it out for a time, but it ain't going away.' What's the truth then? It's a fact, school doesn't seem to be a school anymore. I look at a school as a place where i go to to get educated, to make mistakes and learn from it, to make friends and most importantly, have fun and enjoy each other's company as we do day to day activities. If all these are taken care of, i'll say school is enjoyable it would be something that i'll always look foreward to even though there might be tests and exams but still, there's a part of fun. In other words, a rainbow that you can see, right after the rain. 

But currently, does school feel like this? If you say yes, then why do people say they're dreading school or to be exact, why do KCP-ians say they dread school? Every school is gearing up for the Finals, the pressure would be similar so that isn't quite the reason for dreading school. The actual reason is because of Discipline. Every school has a part on Discipline, but how about my school? 

Why is it that Discipline has to come to this extend? We're a Secondary school, we're teenagers. We go to school to learn to have fun, we're teenagers! What do you expect? We need our share of play time & rest&relax time, don't we? Why's it that i feel that school is turning into a military school instead? You see a DM walking pass class to class with a cane in his hands, you see a DM holding scissors in his hands calling guys to a corner and cutting their hair because it's unacceptable, interrupting classes to confiscate things or do checks. Is this how a normal school is run? No momment for peace, laughter & joy. All you worry about would be who's going to pop by next or who is he going to cane now? 

Has Discipline have to come to this extend. Yes, it's true. Every school has to have Discipline, but not to such an extend right? Last year, was school ever like this? Maybe there were occasions where they were strict on Discipline, but it was only occasions. Not something happening, day after day, just like another routine. I guess some of us are even feeling the same way in __. It also doesn't seem that happy anymore? Being 'accused' because someone has escaped and stuff like that, was it like that before too? I don't remember it being so. I remember having un-controllable laughters, playing hangman-s, dancing at the tune of the videos and bonding with each other, being close buddies.

I know now that how Discipline would be done in the school wouldn't change. Even after feedback(s) and voicing out of opinions, we still are just, afterall, students. And even after saying all these i know i'll still have to obey and comply with all the rules and the way the school is curreently being run. The situation won't change, but i hope in both scenarios, things would become better, similar to previous years where there is the right time for everything and school would be school, fun, educational, enjoyable.

It seems like it's impossible currently, but miracles do happen.

So we slacked and just chatted the whole way through.

Recess,
I've been really silly these days,
and Mrs Chua 'catches' my sillyness at the right time,
argh. i should stop clown(ing) before i really
prove to her how random i can be.
Heh.

1) EOY timetable, i was the first councillor on duty who received it,
and as i flipped it,
i screamed and grabbed Bhavna's hand
because i realised,
i had Chemistry & Lit on the same day
&&
on the 6th!
WHICH MEANT I'M GOING TO 'BURN' MY BRAIN ON MY BIRTHDAY
WITH CHEM & LIT!
And i don't like chemistry,
and lit's always difficult to score and do well.
What's more,
3rd Oct is SOCIAL STUDIES TOO!
oh gee.

So i didn't notice that Mrs Chua, has been staring at me
for a good 5minutes
and went
'Good Morning!'
& some other words asking about EOY,
i was like
OHOHHHHH! Sorrysorry, goodmorninggggg! :D
& she laughed.

& she seemed to be everywhere yesterday!
like bumping into her oh so many times!

2) During Tamil
aka Free Period.
She walked pass the concourse,
and i was..
uh, dancing and making a fool
rejoicing because there's no tamil.
and yeah, she was looking at me again!
LOL.
So i went,
OH HAHAHHAH! Hello! :D
Because i think i fooled around enough.

Only to meet again, twice.
Once more when she was doing her rounds,
and then.. during lunch break!
I seriously should stop clown(ing)before i really
prove to her, i'm sucha mad girl.
Heeeeheeee.

Okay, then bumped into her during recess again,
she was asking about what time lessons start and all,
because..
she's TEACHING NOW (TOO!).
So coool right?
And all the 3joy students were like reaching class on time!

since she finished the chapter,
& i slept during the break,

i was tired, very.
CME followed after,
did some exercise,
i actually liked that story,
i mean you'd lead a much happier life,

sat beside Rajam since we moved class,
we were doing a mindmap,
and then yeah.
I accidently pulled out 4 foolscaps,
so i was being kind,
and gave HonSeng one,

& i everyone around started giggling,
'cos of my reaction and his reply.
I've got no clue what he said tho.
i don't pay attention to what he says anyways.
Then i was colouring my mindmap,
and thenn!

Rajam&I were squabbling over colours!
HAHAH!
Right in the centre of the class even,
heh.

I payed attention okay!
Lesson ended,
lunched.
Vivien can be a veryvery good mother,
i could not stop laughing and she was worried about the fishball which made me
laugh more.
Did favours for them,
came back @ 4,
waited for her @ the library!

Reached KKH @ 7.45, for dinner.

So went to get, 'dinner.'

We got bored, so we headed to the canteen!

Fooled around for a good 10 minutes before heading back to LOR room.

And it finally ended, soon after.
10.30pm already, and i was exhausted and hungryy because i had such a wonderful
'dinner.'
Bus-ed back,
the bus wasn't that packed,
but there wasn't any seating space, till it stopped at Beatty Sec, and I got a seat.
While my brother got a seat, right at the back,
and fell asleep right away.
Grr.

Reached home,
and had a proper dinner.
& off to sleep soon after.

Yay, i'm going to be 15 in exactly a month's.

& i hope the 6th Oct paper isn't going to be Tamil
even though MT paper always falls on a Monday.

Wow, i just realised, and i guess it's somewhat true.
Well, in Singapore at least.
I just realised Year Ends are going to be in like 25 days?
And here I am, busy doing other stupid stuff
like going for a waste-of-time course.

I mean, can't it be in the End year holidays then?
The September hols are way precious because it's only A WEEK!
But they still must do such things, argh.

Okay, back to SP in the morning,
and i woke up @ 7.
Wah, even later compared to yesterday,
but i wasn't quite bothered.

Bath-ed, surf-ed the net for awhile
and at EIGHT, headed to the MRT station,
caught the full-house train,
(my bag nearly got stuck because the doors nearly shut on it!)

Trained down all the way to City Hall this time,
hoping that there might be a chance of getting a seat in the packed train,
but it was a failed attempt.
Bleah.

Trained down all the way till Dover.
Glad to say that at Tanjong Pagar a whole big bunch of people left,
which left every remaining person with a SEAT!
:D

Reached Dover,
only to realise that YiLin was stuck @ Somerset.
And she was in the train behind me,
but the train stopped @ Bradell for 10 minutes due to some faults,
and she said there was a message sent out saying,
'If anything, blame the head.'
HAHAHA.

Waited for her,
had breakfast,
which was like some good 'olday food,
the YumYum crackers, pictures of SP visit up,
another time.

Went for the workshop,
spell the word B-O-R-I-N-G for me.
Argh.
Had company though.
Countdown till lunch.

Wanted rojak, queued up,
only to realise they don't sell it during the holidays
then wanted tahu goreng (?), queued up real long,
only to realise the same thing.
So i went back to hot-plate rice
&
wasted half-an-hour queueing.

Went back to the course.
4.45, got our certificates and stuff.
& it was over!

FINALLY!
No more talks,
no more SP!
But i'll miss the long train rides though.
Heh.

School tomorrow,
I still want a break.

the homework's not completed yet.

I seriously am starting to hate this holiday,
people are spending their time, sleeping away, relaxing, enjoying themselves and being FREE.
But what on earth am i doing?

So yesterday first.

Sorry for not posting up my day,
and only Teacher's Day dedications,
and I was so tired that i in a way, cut it short,
and dedicated messages to only the teachers i'm close to, or made a difference in my life.
And knocked off @ 11.57.
Geesh.

So early simply because..
I was doing CIP from 3+ - pm!
And i feel like some old woman today, trust me.
My back's aching, my tighs are sore or jelly-ish?
Bleah!
So don't you ask me to walk long distances or to help you pick up stuff!

I spent the day shelving books,
bending down from shelve to shelve,
eye sore with the colour & numbers,
trays & trays of books,
and when you're done..

You push the trolley back to the staff room,
and there's a new one waiting for you.
And when you're done with at least 6(SIX) trolleys of books, (each trolley has about 30x5 books),
you go back in & help pack the remaining books
into boxes.
And gosh, bend here, bend there, pack here, pack there.

Not sure whether i want to carry on doing this tho.
Maybe YMCA might be a better choice.

Moon was with me,
err. She obviously favoured me.
And i kept doing my own things and she went on ranting about the people outside 'cos
she was angry at someone/something i guess?
So i was doing my own stuffs & it was only me & her in the room
and so she kept talking to me
ans i wasn't paying attention fully.

Which made her keep questioning,
time after time,
'you listening to me anot?!'
LOL.

Okay, finally @ 9pm i was released together with Moon,
heh.
Walked to the bus-stop,
waited for 56 and bus-ed home.
And gosh it was packed,
& i had not sat down till i got home which meant
i was standing/walking/squat(ting)/bending for 7 hoursss!
and with only a... happy meal.

And that was my monday.
Slept, close to 12.
Supposed to wake up @ 5am this morning to get to Singapore Poly,
but yours truly obviously overslept till 6.30am!

Bathed, rushed and got out of the house at 7.30,
yeah, kind of late.
Mrt-ed to Raffles Place and then to.. Dover.
Long journey, wonderful.

I like times spent just with my phone,
the crowd doesn't bother me either.
Even yesterday's journey back from the library to Bishan,
aww. lovely.

Reached Singapore Poly @ 8.45.
Met YiLin a little later,
went to the building.

It was my first time being there.
In fact, first time being in a polytecnic.
The place, the atmosphere was something i didn't expect.

I kind of had a change in thinking after the visit,
well i won't say it was bad, neither would I say that it was good,
it just was something different, something that i never thought a polytecnic would be like.
Maybe it's only Singapore Poly, i'm not too sure.
But it wasn't something i expected, definately.

The place was kind of huge,
walked up to the 5th story,
that was good enough to kill my half-dead legs and Mr.Lim had to make it worse by
calling us to go to the carpark to collect all the cameras+stands for the competition.

Went down, collected the stuff and walked back up.
Grr.
And the door wasn't even open so YiLin & I watched trains go by,
wishing that we soon would be in one of them.

Workshop started,
i was trying not to fall asleep, seriously.
I just can't stand the monotone kind of voices,
then it won't be my fault if i fall asleep kay!
ThankGod after close to an hour, a much better lecturer came in.
Louder voice, bigger handwriting.
Saved me from visiting Spongebob.
HAHA.
She was, so-so.
I had friends messaging me & all, so i wasn't that bored.
Counted down to lunch.
Shoot(ed) a video before that.
We KCP-ians rock because we left her no choice,
but to group all of us together in the same school/team.
Which meant the lowersec & uppersec were together!
HAHA.

Played around, because we entertained ourselves in the midst of the whole thing,
Elroy's seriously the clown after he made an enemy.
So we always made us all burst into laughter and when the lecturer walk past,
he'll blame it on us.
Bleah.

Foodcourt 3 for lunch.
That place is huge, with 5 food courts,
and Mac's was like half way round the world,
so we gave up searching for it and went to eat @ food court 3.
The food's horrible and way expensive too,
but Tofu satisfies me and that was good enough.

Walked all the way back to block T20,
continued with filming for our 2nd video.
I was seriously, tired & bored.

After 4 hours,
yes it ended,
*screms & jumps around*
trained back home all the way from Dover to Bishan with YiLin & the group.
:)

No seats again, but with music,
everything become's acceptable.

Happy Teachers' Day:

[Mdm Tan] - One of the best(est) teachers i've ever had. She was my Primary 6 teacher, so patient, so kind. :) I've not forgotten the 'special' lessons she gave us, just before PSLE. Thank you, Mdm Tan.

[Mrs Lee] - My Secondary 2 Form Teacher, My Anne Frank teacher too. Well, she was AWESOME! Her lessons always amazed me & I do miss it alot this year, i miss having Mrs Lee as my form teacher too, the best form teacher i had in secondary school! All the funny lessons & CME always rocked too. Heh. I want '07 back, now noww NOWWWW. *wines*

[Mr Kassim] - I wish. I wish. I wish. He's my tamil teacher once again. Okay back to Earth, who in the right mind doesn't? All the wonderful positive stories, all the laughter during lessons and the motivation to study, by using food as an example & linking it to our studies. Yeah, ypu'll probably think it's so stupid, but for every tamil student @ KCP, it's one story, we have not and will never, forget it. He made us work harder, he mades dreams into reality, one thing NO teacher has done. Thank you, Mr Kassim.

[Miss Foo] - You've been my teacher for 2 years + my council teacher, so you probably know me better, compared to the other teachers. Heh. You're an amazing + wonderful + awesome + great teacher. & i know i make your blood boil sometimes because of Social Studies and also not paying attention in class and drifting away to my own world. Hohoho. But still, you accept me for who I am and still help me! :) And thanks for all the sacrifices that you made for your students, the extra classes, the notes, the Social Studies buddy. You're a kind, caring, trust-worthy, friendly ( at most times, even though you refuse to smile.) , lovable teacher. Being my council teacher, you've taught me values that would be kept a life-time, that many teacher's don't teach. Values like responsibility, punctuality (?), honesty and how to become a better role model. I always found the attire checks, honestly, stupid & frustrating & annoying and it always spoiled my mood esp when you would go to the extend of finding a classroom CHAIR to make sure, that our attire's acceptable, even though we were in the CANTEEN. Yeah, i was really annoyed because i obviously had better things to do, then to waste my time doing this stupid, un-called for stuffs but it taught me how important it is. How important it is to be a good role model for others to follow. And that's something, no one else have taught me. I'd still say, i'm learning to be a better role model & with better values. But, i would not have come this far, if not for you. So, you rock! :) Thankyou Miss Fooooooooooo.

Look at the week ahead of me:

Monday - CIP @ AMK. If not accepted since we don't have the user-id & pswrd, we shall just, do for fun or just go read. :)

Tuesday - Photoshop workshop to enter the finals. Sheesh. Guess i can't live without photoshop ya?

Wednesday - Part 2 of workshop. - Both days from 9-5.

Thursday - School. (yucks.) But no choice, i'm not skipping something important.

Friday - School. Bleah.

Such a wonderful & enjoyable holiday indeed ya?! Where's the revision time & everything else!

Okay, i'm supposed to meet YingYng @ some time which i just forgot.
Bleah.
