The Last Night;

Today's POA.
I hope i do really really well because i really am memorising (sp?) & studying for it
even though it's like 2.51 now.

Today will mark the last day of the final exams,
HIPHIPHOORAY!
Which would also mean its going to be the last night i'll be awake at such an hour
till the next common tests probably!
YES! Finally Sleep will come first!

Alot of things to do after the papers:
1 -> ICE-CREAM BUFFET! :D (With YingYng & Clarissa) - tomorrow.
2 -> Get back to my Twilight Saga(!) - Fianlly! I actually hid the books alright.

I'm supposed to write a positive (a few words) about my journey in Kuo Chuan.

I guess i'm updating my blog quite, normally now.
Its the weekends! :D
Lit & Chem on monday,

Today was good?
Left school with Dharishini,
i know we both rock when we're together,
we can go off together,
squabbling with one another!

Social Studies was..
okay/good.
As usual, the results can be.. unpredictable.
But i tried my best!
And the time... wow.
I managed to complete it in time,
but..
my last SBQ question is reallly in other words,
rubbish.
I had no time to do comparison,
but hey!
It's better losing 5 marks than to lose 12+13 marks, right?
But i wrote something quite relevant, so i might be correct too!
No lousy feelings for this paper too!

I did study,
all through the night.
Kinda sad to have no conflict question tho.
Anyways, happy!
I've done my best.

Came home after that,
headed to bed straight.
TLL SIX IN THE AFTERNOON!
7 hours of sleep!
(& its 00:04 and i'm already sleepy again)
I was really tired after the through the night study + the amount of writing done.
I was watching MTV (when was the last time i watched it? - Sept Hols.)
and fell asleep,
right @ the TV, with no fan, windows opened or the aircon turned on,
so i woke up all sweaty @ 6.
Heh.
Good sleep though.

Dinner & cell.
I didn't study Chemistry or Lit.
I took it as a breaktime - just for a day.
So i decided to go down and play + talk to Gerald
a 7 year old boy, who can cross the line often.
(yeah, amazing that i actually thought of doing so.)
i actually did alright!
& i'm so proud of myself.
I didn't lose my patience even though he kept pressing his weight onto the table so that he can jump on the sofa.
And i managed to TALK to him,
even though i don't quite understand some of his reply.
Heh.

Then he asked to play some coin tossing game.
Goodness Gracious!
I can't toss a coin even!
Maybe i'm just, tired.
Hah.

So i asked him whether he wanted to play something else instead,
AND I PLAYED UNO WITH HIM!
He actually wanted to play monopoly,
but looking at the time it was like 9.45, parents might be ending @ 10.30.
TO set up monopoly takes long and everything,
so i asked wana play UNO instead,
it's been ages since i touched it.
(Well, it wasn't even opened yet!)
Since he agreed, we played.

I even forgot how to play!
A once UNO-lover forgetting how to play UNO?!
How is that possible!!
But yes, i was refreshed by Gerald,
and managed to keep each other company till parents were done.
Hoho.

He also taught me a new game,
'cos he didn't accept the fact that we kept losing twice,
and attempted to cheat, thrice.
+ with his thick stack of cards, he asked to play a new game.

So he taught me this game,
i guess its fun for young children and not people our age,
i didn't quite enjoy this game, but it was obvious that he did.

It is called 'Lao Ban.' - Boss i guess?
You take 4 cards and set it up and the 'Lao Ban' only gets to see the cards,
and choosing one card, (for example out of all the cards he chooses a red (5) ) then he would face it down
and ask me to pick which card i think is the red (5), and if i get it right,
he'll give me '1penny',
and he will get the remaining cards.
In the end the one with more penny(s) win.

Obviously, he did, thrice.
Packed up,
and he left soon after.

Quite an enjoyable time with him i guess,
i managed to take a break,
and instead of him sitting alone (like what he does on a usual Friday),
we 'entertained' each other.
HAHA.

Off to bed now,
it's 12!

And as i was walking it to where Rajam was standing,
this Marymount Girl saw it
and thought it was a real dog,
and screamed and ran to the corner to give way to me,
WOW! JOKE!

Who would stroll an animal (panda) in J8!
& hey, its a panda not a dog!

I'm sure Rajam likes it, eh?

Yay us.
Rajam, it was my master plan that succeeded,

It's only the 2nd day,
but i can't wait to get this EOY over and done with.
Tomorrow's Tamil. :(
I pray, i hope that it would be a do-able paper,
& that i would feel happy after the paper,
and other papers would be the same kind.

I don't want another paper, like today's.
Ever ever ever again.
I hate the hall.
It makes the atmosphere so tense,
adding on to everything,
the only thing to cool us downs are,
useless fans!

Tashka's 'enzymes' are inactive at that temperature.
It's optimum temperature is 22degress,
i know i can continue dreaming.

Bio was alright,
just a littlee tiny bit difficult.

& i was literally counting down, saying 15 mins and common tests would be overrr!
& then it was, finallly!

The day i've been waiting for since the starting of the term,
and it's finally over.

Listened to my class95 while bestie studied for Amaths.
@ 10.15, bestie went back to class,
while i went to get my McGriddles! (again)
tried the 2nd set meal,
not as fantastic compared to the first one,
so buy the one w/o egg alright!

Then went off to foodjunction,
back to the nice sitting place,
ate,
back to school at 11.15!

Then waited for YingYng,
it was scary to see the students come out of the exam room,
crying.
But it's over yea.

Went off to take 54 to orcharddd with bestie.
Visited the dentist for the last time, happiness.

Oh yea, & while we were walking we realised that Dora died!

Bought everything i wanted,
and played a little more,
before heading back to the bus stop
and catching 54!

We caught the bus just as we reached the bus stop, how great.
We saw a sweet innocent girl in the bus and offered her Chips& More,
and she took like a min to eat it while i took 5?

Reached Bishan,
bbtea of course, & off to the play ground there for awhile,
then to j8 before heading home.

This common test is really bad,
not only is it difficult,
but the timings are just too little.

Call it my 1st Common Test.

Let's just hope for the best alright,
so it's one paper left,
biology.

Chemistry from 8 to 9.
1HOUR.
It was managable,
but essay was a little difficult,
so was a little from short answers part.

Break from 9 to 10.

POA.
HORRIBLE.
that would say it all,
i expected something different,
something more practice-based,
and not this kind.
How were the answers written in the first place?
& when did we touch on trade discount?
Call it a Paper 1 when it was a Paper 2?
Where's all our practised tests?
Where was all the debtor & creditor accounts?
Where was the accounting equation?
Where was the accounting principles?
Where did all my effort go to?
Where were all the teorys(?) ?
Where was all the bal brought down/ carried down?
Why did nothing you taught us came out?

Call this fair?
No.
Maybe it's really true, that the teacher is the one that makes the difference,
to you liking the subject or hating it.
It was so strange to come out of the exam classroom and hear the other classes rejoice at how easy the paper was,
and how they knew they were right,
and questioning the setter why the paper was simple,
and it was the total opposite for us,
clueless on what the answers were supposed to be like,
and doing something we've never done before.
:/

POA seems like something the other classes look forward to
like how it is for me, for Social Studies.
Because, the teacher makes the difference,
you know so well that you're going to learn something important,
but it just isn't the same to me for POA. (i'm sure it applies to the rest as well.)
Why can't one teacher just teach the same subject for all the classes taking it, well they're only 2.

Argh, it's over.
No point crying over spilt milk.
I've done my best, and i should move on.

i want Chemistry.

What do teachers get out of setting a hugely difficult paper?
Do they enjoy marking 'x' everywhere in the answer script?
& be it the first SEC3 COMMON TEST?
Shouldn't it be something new, then why such a difficult paper?

Maths was a total killer.
TOTAL.
Worse than tamil.
Section A was difficult but managable,
but section b was a serious killer.
SERIOUS.

I've never seen any paper as difficult as this,
(not even sec2 geography & sec2 maths eoy)
& the other stupid thing,
was everyone was rejoicing at 'failure.'
Laughing & being happy after the paper,
because they know they were going to fail, 'together.'

Anyway, i tried my best,
& i didn't give up,
even though i wanted to a countless number of times.

Lit was rather fine.
A little difficult,
but managable.
Wrote as if there wasn't going to be any tomorrow,
and gave it my best,
even though i forgot to include the writer's technique,
and unseen was horrible.
It was literally an extract.
Like from no where!
In the middle of no where.

But it's all over now,
POA & Chem tomorrow.
& it'll end of with Bio!

and i memorized it!

And as walking back to class i was like,

Because i was afraid by the time i get the paper,
i'll probably be blank.

Went back to class.

& SHE PRAYED.

But there was some ________ humans who were being dis respectful, and commenting to reveal the question in the prayer.

It was the first ever SS paper i'm doing in my entire life,
but i trued my best,

Got the paper,
even though i focused on Population & all,
i decided to do SriLanka one instead.

& i literally poured everything out of my brain,
it felt like that, and i managed to answer both.
I had a weird dream during my nap yesterday,
that i studied very hard for ageing population,
but was only able to answer, part (a) & not (b)
But i managed to do both.
*okay other than the annoying hands were kinda soaked and it started dripping onto the paper/table/my skirt as i wrote.

Part (a) was all the Sinhala policys that affected the Tamils,
Part (b) was on the consequences,

i had no time to complete social consequences,
but i wrte plenty of other factors i suppose?

Ahhh,
okay it's over.
I felt good after the paper,
until...

(shan't talk about it. Anyway, i don't really care anymore. If it's true, then i can't do anything, if its false, i can't also do anything, and i'm always the first to leave the class, and the last to come in too, so whatever it is, it is.)
But Miss Chye said it well. (:

Then off to study with study partner.
I need motivation to study historyyyyyy.
TOV? LON? Advantages? Disadvantages?

AHHHHH.
i need a PICTURE in my mind of the chapter, to start revision.

MATHS WAS...

A KILLER.

It was even worse than Geography. It was hard for me to try not to give up when i look around me and most of the people have already given up, but still i manged to just give my best.
& this marks the end of the Year End Exam.

I am proud to say i gave it all my best i could have given to all the papers, even though some were more difficult than others.

What do teacher's archieve when they set tough papers?
Do they feel happy to mark all crosses all over the paper?
Do they enjoy to see the whole cohort disappointed over the unexpected difficult paper?
Do they enjoy to see the whole cohort fail or do badly?
If not, why do they set tough papers and torture our tineewinne brain?

On a brighter note, Exams are all over. It's time to celebrate my birthday maybe.

I got so annoyed this morning, when Mrs Lee just started shouting at our class for no ryme or reason just because we all cheered when Mrs Yap announced that today was the last day of exams. So how are we supposed to react? Show grumpy faces? Who won't be happy that it is the last day of exam? Imagine being in our shoes & having to sit for so many exams for 9 days? Won't your brain be tired? & Won't you look foreward for the exams to end? Sometimes teachers just don't understand how it feels when we have to struggle through a torturous week and when it comes to an end, Won't we be happy?
Miss Foo was so much better. After Mrs Lee was angry she left and Miss Foo came in to invigilate. She did'nt stop us from cheering, she just said can do it but not too loud and she made us feel happy before the paper started. Plus she even prayed for us to remember our formulas and enjoy ourselves thoroughly during our 6 days break.
Isn't that better than shouting and screaming at the class.
That's the reason why i enjoy Miss Foo more than Mrs Lee.
She tries to make us feel happy and not so pressured by the exam.

I've to be in school at 8 tomorrow. To hand in Art. See at least, i'm still doing it and not just forgetting about it because of our exams.

I think i should carry on with Art now.

I'd be happier if Miss Foo was our form teacher.
