It's Teacher's Day @ Agapeland,

So i was @ 2nd Service!
& gosh,
there were not many farmiliar faces.
It felt so weird, because i don't know half the people.

And the worship felt extra loud,
and the crowd, extra large.

Geesh.
That's the difference between going to Agapeland & 2nd Service.
Heh.

Anyways, because of the extra large crowd,
we had to sit at the back,
close to the baby's area.
HAHA.

Agapeland were run by parents today,
which meant every Agapeland server, was @ 2nd service.
The whole ministry was @ the service,
how rareeeeee.
:)

Breakfast @ Macs with Clarissa,
bumped into Aunty Lily/Shirley & Uncle Wilson,
and so we had to join in the discussion on Children's Day!

Bleah.
Jungle, Tarzen & Jane isn't in the toddlers dictionary i guess.
=/
Brainstorming was hilarious,
because we were all, creative people.
From clown to fruits of the sprit to Forest to JUNGLE!
HAHAHAHA.

Headed back to church soon after,
service on honour.

Ps Thomas honoured all Agapeland teachers,
but since Val & Clarissa didn't want to stand,
i didn't too.
Heh.

And then, we were asked to leave to go up to Agapeland,
I walked in,
and the children screamed
'Happy Teacher's Day!'
Which was SHOCKING & EXTREMELY LOUD.
And all the teachers should have.. gathered together and came up together because
the poor children were screaming away as EVERY teacher walked it.
But it was nice.

And then the next thing,
Joshua walked towards me,
with a gift!

From the toddlers, how cuteeeeee!

Agapeland's appreciation lunch followed after,
They made.. every teacher hold the sash (?) and take a picture with it, as a gift from Agapeland.

But i didn't.

Teacher's Day 2008

School was..
Good i'd say.
:D

Most things, completed.

I left home to school @ 7.18,
and it just REFUSED to print.
That's why i said photoshop's sickening at times
&
i'm not going to touch photoshop till it's time or when another occasion arises.
:)

So i rushed to school,
& my dear YingYng was still calm, at home.
WOW.

Assembled in the Parade Square,
i was trying my very best to get my legs out of my shoe to pull the socks of mine
'cos it was falling off
so i decided to do it when they prayed,
and guess what?
Everyone around who looked begin to laugh at me!

So yeah.
Off for the Fun Walk.
HAHAHHAHA.
Company with Dharishini & Rajam
ROCKS!
& awhile with YingYng.

I was trying to imitate how 'teachers' walk to class,
and yeah, made a fool of myself.
and caused un-neccesary attention.
LOL.
Then i burst into laughter when i noticed this guy dancing exercising
across a bridge..

Got bored awhile later,
and so we took a 'break' at the bus-stop to wait for the grey woman.
HAHHAHA.

And the route was -> Cannal, turn left at the traffic light before Bishan Park, beside the MRT railway, swimming complex, MOE LC, Mosque, ITE, School.

Yeah, ONE bbigg round!
I bet every person driving, or looking at us from the buses would think that
we had such a crazy school,
heh.

The walk was like some stroll and a waste of time,
but the company + crapping time rocked, as always.
Never can be replaced with lessons ya?

my brother & i decided to do exchange.
(That's a bad thing about having a brother next door.)
I gave him 1/2 a pizza, he gave me some drink of his.

We were playing a fool, walking around..

Mrs Wong came him & called him back to class.

So i had FREEDOM!
Walked around with Sarah instead.

To Miss Aliah first,
she has such a mean class, geesh.

Attempted to find Mr Chan, but yeah
we couldn't because we didn't know where he had disappeared too.

Saw Miss Foo,

I didn't one to go there because.
Sarah, YingYng & Dharishini knows.

So i messaged her and said after school without

What a great day to miss school!
Boooo.

Hall for concert @ 10.
Noel was singing 'I still believe'
all the way to the hall (LAH.)
I was like.. shhh. You try mult-tasking when you learn how to sing & play the piano
properly kay!

Concert was fine.
Jumpstyle was seriously the bombz,
and also the only time when most handphones/cameras popped out.
Yoyo performance by Marcus was also like
WOW.
I eyes couldn't even blink,
so that i won't miss anything,
seriously good.

1 Faith won many awards,
the teachers won the Teachers VS Students Chellenge this year.
DOUBLE BOOO.

1 Hope performed their P.E module, dancing.
Sec 2 Faith skipping,
quite good too eh.
Iris, such a PRO!

Lastly the indian classical group,
Dakshayani, Preetitha (sp?), Jancy & Sherlyn (sp?) performed.
I think Sherlyn's really good.
To pick up the steps quicking & learn fast.
:)

I definately can't do that.

Okay, yes ended off with a prayer.
And i was becoming restless.

This is what i truly like about KCP, i bet everyone does.
We were asked to sing the FULL school song, rare.
Reluctant at first.
But WOW!

It was sung, extremely louding!
Never before was it this loud, everyday the anthem is like
silence, the school song,
silence!

But today,
everyone was so happy!
Singing louding!
And ended off if everyone screaming & clapping,
and me?
Laughing!

Went to the staff room,
thanks to the so-many ex-students,
i was too lazy to squeeze through to get Miss Foo out,
so thankGod for a phone!
HAHAHA.

Met like along the walkway of the HOD room & staffroom.

Yay!
Save me from holding that big bag, and looking like some fool.
& i seriously didn't know how to tell her,
like these are messages from classes you teach.
Every class had someone that she taught's messages inside..
& councillors/GB girls too.

Then Mdm Tan was making another joke about that shouting thing he does from our
class room to HER CLASS up there in the 4th floor!
Geeesh.
& SHE CAN HEAR IT!

Seriously, he's such a joker.
LOL.

Back to secondary school to get my stuff out of the locker,
and home it was.

Teacher's Day celebration is over,
this year was amazing.
Never imagined myself being involved in so many surprises.
And it isn't easy to get people to cooperate you know!
& doing it, secretly.

Took my supposedly nap,
but i slept for 7hours straight.

I don't expect you to say sorry,
i think you should just leave me alone,
if i don't bother you,
then you don't bother me too.

I didn't ask for your comments,
neither am I your punching bag you know?
You don't go to a person in the face and curse/swear,
whatever you did.
Don't expect me to not take it to heart,
because I do.

I don't mind loosing a friend, just to appreciate one special teacher.

oh well even if i did, it wasn't a real proper one.

Finally, Teacher's Day Celebrations are over!
Which means..
the 'project's' completed.

And i can say what is it now,
since i've already passed it to

I was thinking..
about something that i can to for Miss Foo
(not that i don't like the other teachers, but Miss Foo's special & different.)
and then i thought of a newspaper!
Like..
People writing 'articles' to thank her & appreciate her.

AND THAT IS ONE REASON WHY IT WASN'T COMPULSORY!
Only if you're willing to write.

And so i received a total of 55 messages,
i then had to upload it into Notepad,
which took a day plus.

Then i used photoshop to create the double-layer template.
Which started out fine,
but after awhile, i was sick & tired of doing..
because photoshop is like very sickening at times,
because new stuffs will suddenly appear
and then can't undo & stuff!
Grrr.

But i worked it out somewhat.
YingYng came over Yesterday,
to help me because i obviously was tired of it.
Heh.

But we continued.
More messages came in,
some real funny ones!
HAHAHA.

& at 8pm,
i decided to go find photos of Miss Fooooooo.
AHHHHH.
That toook so long because,
someone just doesn't appear in photos!
OR
she looks really weird in them.
HAHAH.

Found a few,
finally.
Then Gracia came to the rescue!

Finally, it was completed @ 1.56am
and printing it was another problem,

So that was what i've been busy for the past 48hourrs - 14hours of school - 10hours sleep - 3hours of slacking = 21hours of work!

Biology:
Finishing Respiration. The part of the smoking section is seriously, cool.
But not the pictures.
I wonder why then people still want to smoke if they know the consequences?

& it started to BOIL?!

Obviously i screamed 'cos I thought it was going to explode or something,
thankGod Miss Aliah was just a bench away!

we decided to run!
So we ran to some flag thing,

got what we wanted,
treat(ed) him Coke.

He shaked the whole thing,
and claimed that it would not burst out when he opens it!

HAHA, So he sucked the whole bottle cap.
Reached home @ 8.30pm.

Did photoshopping, and picture searching till 12.30am.
And printing it + adding photos till, 1.50am.
Close to 2.30am where I knocked out.

Twilight Craze

Yes,
it is seriously a craze.

It's one of the best books that i've ever read,
one of the thickest,
one of the most detailed.

I don't normally read such thick books,
sometimes reading isn't quite my thing too!

But from today,
i guess everything has changed.

I love reading,
esp. books like this.

Denise is right,
Stephanie Meyer is a wonderful author.
So detailed,
as i am reading twilight,
i do get shivers running down my spine
when the momment becomes so intense.

I am really enjoying the book.
I'm still reading it,
i actually spent 80% of today,
reading Twilight.

It's a brilliant book!

As i opened up my inbox, i saw this:

A Glass Of Milk
One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry.
He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door.

Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it so slowly, and then asked, How much do I owe you?'

You don't owe me anything,' she replied. 'Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness.'

He said ... 'Then I thank you from my heart.'

As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.

Many year's later that same young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease.

Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes.

i feel so happy after completing all the humanities paper,
a sense of satisfaction because i did my best.
I mean,
compared to Chem/Emaths/POA,
i too did my best,
but the papers were not worth talking about.

Anyway,
guess who relieved me for lit today?

& i hate this horrible flu that i'm having,
1) it's the worst time to catch it
2) i can't hear myself speak ( i don't know whether i'm too loud or too soft)
3) My ears are blocked, great.
4) I CAN'T TASTE FOOOOOD! My tastebuds aren't functioning, AT ALL!
5) The nose's still trying to run away
6) The amount of words mis-understood, is CRAZY!
7) The throat's the worst, nearly a week!


It's horrible.
i'm going to get to sleep now!

Revision's almost done.
it's close to 5,
it has been the longest night of studying,
4 & 1/2 hours straight.

It's a sin to kill a mocking bird,

Courage

I'm still doing revision for lit,
even though it's 2.49 in the morning,
but hey!
i'm actually finding it more & more interesting.

I took 2hours to complete chapter 11,
it's such an amazing chapter.

We always tend to give up, without even giving your best.

Science (Chemistry) - OVERRRRRRRRRR! :D (chellenging, but i'll work doubly hard for Bio!)
Social Studies - OVER! - I can do, managable. :)
Emaths - OVERRRRRRRRR! - (veryvery difficulttt!)
History - OVERRR. (not too bad, managable. :)
POA - THANKGOD ITS OVER. - IT WAS A KILLLLLER.

I seriously hope after CTs i don't become nocturnal and sleep every afternoon away & do work at night, that'll be insane.

In the midst of common tests,
Chemistry - chellengingggg.
Social Studies - hey! I CAN DO IT! Don't ask me why i was so scared, hee.
Maths - As usual, killer. Anything surprising?

Talking about maths,
the paper looked so foreign to me.
But i didn't feel so disappointed compared to chemistry,
because
it wasn't surprising to get such a paper.
And most had the same re-ation when they came out?
& that became the talk of the town (i mean KCP.)

And something annoying happened before the paper.
We came back from the break before the maths paper.
(     ) relieved us.
So he put like 12 graph papers on my table,
so obviously a student will question how many pieces of graph paper to take right?

I mean:
1) How'd i know how many questions on graph will come out?
2) We have been taking like more than 1 paper for every paper
3) HELLO! THERE ARE 12 (TWELVE) GRAPH PAPER THERE, DOES IT LOOK LIKE MY ROW'S SO LONG?!

And guess what his reply was?

Just Take one lah! Err, I don't think the paper is that difficult that you need to use so many graph papers huh. And some other stuff that i couldn't be bothered to listen to.

Arghhh.

Hohoho, i'm back.
Just so you know,
Common tests aren't over or have started
but i want to blog today,
it's 08/08/08
HAHAHA.

Well yes updates.
English has become a dread. I so feel like skipping it now.
She has this, 'Humiliation Time'
you should know what that means.
And i promise, if my paper's ever going up there,
i'm so not handing in any worksheet,
EVER AGAIN to her.

And she yells, she treats her lessons like military class.
I feel like i'm in a boy&girls' home,
having english.
I'm being commanded, shouted at to do work.
And she can't even mind her language, seriously.

'Who's this nameless FREAK?!' Excuse me? Is this how teacher's speak?,
such a wonderful role model for students to follow.
I'll wait for the day, when someone who'ss rushing out of the class,
squeesing through the half opened door,
falls down real real badly,
then maybe she'll learn her lesson.

If we don't leave the room in 5secs,
we'll be 'tortured'.
My poor ears.

Out of that,
i was a flag raiser this weeeeeek!
I enjoyed it because, my hands were dryyyyy most of the time! :D
And it always went smoothly (other than for...) and reached the top,
ON THE DOT!

And it felt so good raising the flag,
ON THE EVE OF NATIONAL DAY!
How special!
I get to raise the flag, and watch it fly high in the sky,

i don't want to be killed by the papers.

HIATUS

Sorry I really have not touched this blog for so long yeah?
Close to a week, but i'm going on hiatus till ct's are over.

Too too many tests coming up,
& CT's in 7days!

Last few tests were killers, serious.

1) Maths was the usual killer. (& he could say that it would be simpler)

2) Chemistry! It was the first time in my entire life i left a test paper blank,
well, only my name and scribbled formulaes all over.

BUT IT WAS REALLY DIFFICULT.
I did 2 questions on balancing, that's all.
Thank God it's only upon 15

3) English CT was uh okay,
Passage A difficult, but Passage B was better.

4) Tamil was great! (no kidding here)

5) Bio was difficult,

6) Lit was well, managable.

So majority were difficult

Miss Mary Chye!

Miss Chye! ;) I told you i'll dedicate a post to you, so here it is, heh. I don't exactly know what to say because i've said MOST of the things i wanted to say back in that letter I gave you, (actually it's kind of detailed) HAHA. 

That's the most recent picture I have with you & the close clique during Racial Harmony'08. Hehe. I just want to say thank you again, it was a 3year & counting thing, but sadly you're still leaving. And today's the big day. One more year then it'll be real cool eh? Came & left together teaching the same students till graduation! But boo, you're leaving halfway. How mean.

Anyways, have a good holiday, and all the best for whatever you're going to do after that and please come back to visit and for our graduation! :D And you know that we all are going to miss you, and also all the times we had to decide whether it was true or false, HAHA.

No more grammer worksheets (!), no more relaxed english lessons, no more enjoyable english lessons & no more Miss Chye, i'm so going to dread English. Okay, that's all i've to say to Miss Chye, the more detailed stuff are in the letter, heh.
